Currency, Gold and Silver Bureau (Coordination Office of the State Council's Joint Conference on Combating Currency Counterfeit)

 

Responsible for drafting administrative rules for currency issue; managing Renminbi bank notes and combating counterfeit currency; planning for the production, storage, transportation, renewal and disposal of banknotes and coins; administering cash injection, withdrawal and security of the vault; managing the State gold reserve; and functioning as the coordination office for the State Council's Joint Conference on Combating Currency Counterfeit.
