Governor Zhou Xiaochuan Met with IMF
Deputy Managing Director Naoyuki Shinohara

June 30, Governor Zhou Xiaochuan met with Mr. Naoyuki Shinohara, the Deputy
Managing Director of the International monetary Fund (IMF) in Beijing. They exchanged views on China´s economic growth, general
price level, balance of payments, and monetary policy, and etc. Mr. Naoyuki
Shinohara also met with senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, the
China Banking Regulatory Commission, the Development Research Center of the State Council, and the
Export-Import Bank of China during his visit to China, as part of the 2010 Article IV Consultation between China and the IMF.
