On April 23rd, Pan Gongsheng, PBOC Governor, met with the Governor of the Bank of Japan Kazuo UEDA on the sidelines of the Spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. They exchanged views on current macro-economic and financial conditions and financial cooperation. Xuan Changneng, PBOC Deputy Governor, attended the meeting.
